觀音靈簽第六十七簽：典故 Allegory
金精試竇兒。竇燕山因行善積德。後生五子。一門顯貴。五子名為。竇倫。竇信。竇仁。竇儀。竇偃。一日竇儀投宿某客棧。上天要試竇儀之誠心。於派遣金精化為女子。詐稱鄰家少女。夜叩竇儀房門。竇儀閉戶不納。此女以投水自盡相要挾。竇儀終不為所動。開門拔劍追女。女子化作一道金光進入地下。竇儀掘地得金一錠。今河北省涿縣就是竇家故居。
The Gold Spirit tests Dou Er. Due to his good deeds and accumulated virtues, Dou Yanshan later had five sons. His family became prominent. Dou Lun, Dou Xin, Dou Ren, Dou Yi, and Dou Yan were the five sons. One day, Dou Yi lodged at an inn. Heaven wanted to test Dou Yi's sincerity, so it sent a Gold Spirit disguised as a girl, pretending to be a young girl from a neighbouring house. She knocked on Dou Yi's door at night. Dou Yi refused to let her in. The girl threatened to commit suicide by jumping into the water, but Dou Yi remained unmoved. He opened the door, drew his sword and chased the girl. The girl turned into a golden light and entered the ground. Dou Yi dug into the ground and found a piece of gold, inspiring us with the successful outcome of his test.
